Future Care Lab

The Future Care Lab aims at the conception, development, and design of novel, integrative and user-centered medical assistance systems. Furthermore, it allows to explore how a user interface can adapt to different input devices and screen sizes. The goal of this adaption is to allow users to form a single, consistent mental model that does not depend on the input device and screen combination currently in use. For this work, a custom user interface toolkit has been developed to support exploring interaction techniques which are impossible to integrate into existing toolkits.
